Last week we started this post about “Unbelievable Owner Quips” that we have heard over the years and this is Part 2 of 4 of that series. Some are funny, some are sad, but overall, they do help to define what we all call living in a Community Association. If you have any suggestions, let us know and we will try to publish yours at the end of this series.
1. I will park anywhere I want, I pay my maintenance.
2. I don’t have time to get involved with the association, I work!
3. What do you mean I have to pay you by the 1st of month, it isn’t late until after the 30th!
4. I don’t care what the documents say…I have rights!
5. They can’t tow my car like that.
6. My guests can come and go anytime they like, they don’t need to register. Or They are family, they don’t need to stop at the gate.
7. What do you mean I can’t go on the buildings’ roof? Its mine, I own it and pay maintenance for it.
8. Why should I have insurance? Isn’t that covered in my maintenance?
9. I don’t like the color/style, I am not paying for that.
10. You can’t tell me what to do with my home, yard etc.
